One Direction announce third album Midnight Memories

The oddly titled LP will serve as the follow up to their debut Up All Night and the second album Take Me Home.

Midnight Memories will be released on November 25 and is available to pre-order from September 9.

1D’s Harry Styles already has high hopes for the album, telling fans on Twitter: ‘I think you’ll like it’.

 The boys had teased the album earlier in the day with Zayn Malik tweeting a short clip that featured Styles spelling out the first three letters of the album title.
